Our story

Twenty years of building homes — not facilities.

Olu's Home began at a kitchen table in Minneapolis with one question: what would care look like if we designed it for the people we love? Two decades later, that question still guides everything we do.

Our mission

A safe, joyful home for every Minnesotan who needs one.

We serve adults with disabilities, brain injuries, mental health needs, and older adults across Minnesota. Our homes and in-home services are licensed, individualized, and led by care professionals who know the people they support by name.

From the CADI and DD waiver families we've walked alongside for years, to the county partners who trust us with complex referrals — we are honored to be part of this work.

What we believe

The four values that shape every shift.

Dignity first

Every person we serve is a full human being — not a diagnosis or a bed number.

Person-centered

Care plans are written with, not for. Choice is the beginning of every conversation.

Growth over routine

We build environments where independence is practiced, not paused.

Excellence, quietly

High standards, calm delivery. Awards are nice — outcomes are the point.

Leadership

Led by clinicians. Grounded in community.

Our leadership team combines decades of nursing, behavioral health, and social work experience with lived experience in the communities we serve. We hire caregivers who live near the people they support — because home is more than four walls.
